Her research focuses on American politics, policy, and law. She is the author of <em>Mapp v. Ohio: Guarding Against Unreasonable Searches and Seizures<\/em>, and <em>Religious Freedom and Indian Rights: The Case of Oregon v. Smith<\/em>, and the recipient of two Fulbright Scholar Awards. She was the Democratic nominee for the Third Congressional District in 2018 and 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Long lives in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p><em><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(90, 89, 88)\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(249, 238, 226)\">This talk is presented in partnership with\u00a0<\/span><\/em><strong><i><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(90, 89, 88)\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(249, 238, 226)\">The Thomas S.
