A joint program of Humanities Washington and ArtsWA, WACultures has been supporting traditional artists and researching cultural practices across the Evergreen State since 2016. WACultures runs several programs\u2014including the Heritage Arts Apprenticeship program\u2014and produces a journal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/wacultures.org\/\">Check out the new website<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On their new site, WACultures is:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Sharing cultural artist profiles on the <a href=\"https:\/\/wacultures.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">homepage<\/a>, introducing you to tradition bearers and artists they meet through their apprenticeship program and fieldwork.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Opening up their extensive archives, making sounds and images from their collection <a href=\"https:\/\/wacultures.org\/archives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">available online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Relaunching the <a href=\"https:\/\/wacultures.org\/journal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Journal of Washington State Folklife<\/em><\/a> (formerly <em>Rites of Green<\/em>).
