Emmerman<\/strong>, PhD is the Education Director for the Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization. A Philosopher-in-Residence in a public elementary school in Seattle, Karen spends much of her time working with K-12 students to nurture their curiosity and critical thinking through philosophy. She also leads workshops and trainings for educators, helping them create communities of inquiry with the young people in their lives.
